WHITE PLAINS - The judge hearing the corruption case against former New York police Commissioner Bernard Kerik said Monday that Kerik's lawyer could furnish "compelling" testimony against him.
At a hearing on whether defense attorney Kenneth Breen should be disqualified, Judge Stephen Rob inson seemed to side with prosecutors' claim that Breen has conflicts of interest and could end up as a witness. He did not issue a ruling, however.
