HOUSTON, Dec. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equus Total Return, Inc. ("Equus" or the "Fund") today announced that on December 17, 2007, the Fund's board of directors elected Robert L. Knauss as the Fund's independent (non-executive) Chairman of the Board.
