Article: FOXMEYER HEALTH CLARIFIES OUTLOOK FOR MEDICINE SHOPPE CONTRACT; CONTRACT BINDING THROUGH EARLY 1998

DALLAS, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- FoxMeyer Health Corporation (NYSE: FOX) said this morning that it expects to fulfill its five-year supply agreement with Medicine Shoppe International, Inc. (Nasdaq-NNM: MSII), serving as one of the pharmacy franchisor's two designated suppliers through early 1998. Under a contract announced in February 1993, FoxMeyer serves as designated wholesaler to the Medicine Shoppe's franchisees in the 39 states east of the Rocky Mountains.
