DALLAS, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- FoxMeyer Health Corporation (NYSE: FOX) said this morning that it expects to fulfill its five-year supply agreement with Medicine Shoppe International, Inc. (Nasdaq-NNM: MSII), serving as one of the pharmacy franchisor's two designated suppliers through early 1998. Under a contract announced in February 1993, FoxMeyer serves as designated wholesaler to the Medicine Shoppe's franchisees in the 39 states east of the Rocky Mountains.
Yesterday, Cardinal Health, Inc. and Medicine Shoppe announced they had signed a definitive agreement under which Medicine Shoppe would become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardinal. The two companies said ...
