WARREN - About the only thing clear in the case of Judith A. Mann is that the family feud over her remains will only be resolved in court.
But even then, the relationships between those involved probably will never be repaired, family members said.
Exactly what happened after Mrs. Mann died in 2003 isn't easy to figure out, but it appears her ashes, once kept in a closet at her husband's home, somehow ended up in the hands of her daughter who, after months of debating, took them on a cruise ship and scattered them on a beach in Aruba, recording the event on a DVD that most agree is a tasteful tribute.
