MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Carlson Hotels Worldwide today announced the addition of eight new locations to its global portfolio during November 2007. The new hotels include one Radisson SAS property in the United Kingdom's Channel Islands; five Country Inn & Suites By Carlson(SM) hotels in the United States; and two Park Inn(R) hotels -- one in the Sheffield, England, and one in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Carlson's worldwide portfolio now totals 964 hotels with 146,509 rooms in 70 countries. Carlson hotel brands also include Regent Hotels & Resorts and Park Plaza(R) Hotels & Resorts.
