NEW YORK, July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp.'s (AECC's) $124.6 million secured facility bonds are rated 'A' by Fitch. The implied rating on AECC senior debt securities is 'A+'. Proceeds will be used to refund the outstanding 11.5% term bonds due 2009. Bonds will be sold through negotiation by a syndicate led by Smith Barney later this month. The credit trend is stable.
