WARRENVILLE, Ill., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- BP Pipelines (North America) Inc. announced today it has withdrawn the Open Season offer to the industry for Viridian Pipeline. Although there was significant interest from potential shippers during the recent open season process, BP Pipelines did not receive sufficient commitments necessary to redeploy the pipeline in light crude service. BP Pipelines anticipates revising and expanding the scope of the project and presenting an enhanced offer for redeployment of the pipeline in the first quarter of 2008.
