There's a long history of sportswriters and other tagging teams with unofficial nicknames that eventually stick. Those days are long gone.
Until now. We hope.
Academy of the Holy Names is an all-girls Catholic prep school in Albany that has teams in 10 sports, from basketball to cheerleading. It is Holy Names -- just, Holy Names. It is the Colonial Council school with no nickname.
