HARROGATE Town missed the chance to reclaim top spot on Saturday after slipping to a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to improving Worcester City.
Town boss Neil Aspin gave a debut to new striker Steve Burton but he, Danny Holland and Tony Hackworth failed to fire upfront as Town slipped to their second home defeat of the season.
Worcester's goal came after just 12 minutes when Ryan Clarke headed home after City winger Jamie Price's free-kick took a deflection.
With Hyde's game at Workington postponed , victory would have sent Town top and Aspin signalled his intent by playing Holland, Hackworth and new boy Burton upfront.
