FORMER First Minister Jack McConnell has been accused of hiding the truecost of flying in a multi-millionaires private jet to a conference on poverty.
The Labour MSP travelled to New York on the [pounds sterling]10 million aircraft owned bytycoon Sir Tom Hunter to attend a summit organised by former US President BillClinton in September.
Mr McConnell was criticised at the time for making the three-day trip as hemissed a crucial vote in the Scottish parliament. And now it has emerged thathe is facing an investigation into how much Sir Toms gift was worth.
