A card that introduces DirectX 10.1 and wipes away bad memories of the 2900XT
When the Radeon HD 2900XT launched it was considerably slower than Nvidia's Geforce 8800GTX. It was also noisy and lacked Universal Video Decoder (UVD) hardware, present on the HD 2400 and HD 2600, which offloads high-definition processing onto the GPU.
