NEW YORK, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael A. Henning has been named chairman of Ernst & Young International (EYI), the $6 billion professional services organization with offices in over 125 countries. Henning succeeds Elwyn O.M. Eilledge who served as chairman of EYI, as well as chairman of Ernst & Young in the United Kingdom. Henning will assume the EYI chairmanship as a full-time role.

Mr. Henning previously was Chief Executive Officer of EYI, the umbrella organization that supports member firms around the world.

Three senior partners will take new responsibilities for managing specific global strategic initiatives under Mr. Henning.
