Aluminium oxide balls for harsh environments.(REFRACTORIES)

The GBC Materials, USA, has introduced dry-pressed aluminium oxide (alumina) ceramic balls for use in extremely harsh environments. The rolling, spherical components find applications in mechanical devices that provide rotary or linear motion, such as check and ball valves and bearings.

GBC Material's alumina balls can be used in a variety of industries, including electrical, environmental, chemical, material processing and automotive, the company says.
