St. Martin--particularly on the French side--is considered the culinary capital of the Caribbean, with more quality French restaurants per square mile than you find anywhere except in France. There are three things to note: First, depending on the current exchange rate between the euro and dollar, many of the French side restaurants offer a 1 to US$1 if you pay in cash.
