Efforts to curb inflation appropriate but insufficient - Gref
MOSCOW. Dec. 28. (Interfax) - The Russian government's efforts to curb inflation have been appropriate but insufficient, Sberbank (RTS: SBER) President and Chairman German Gref told journalists on Friday.
"There arises a perception that inflation is such, that if you cut off the valve it will also stop," he said, adding that inflation was felt throughout the whole world this year.
"The government's efforts to curb inflation are appropriate and timely but insufficient since inflation does not depend on the actions of the government," he said.
