Dhaka, Dec 30 (UNB)Fifty-one more individuals, institutions and organizations Saturday-Sunday donated a total of Tk 8.53 crore, 15,990 US dollars and 3,000 British pounds to the Chief Adviser's Relief and
Welfare Fund for the cyclone-stricken people, who are in need of rebuilding their life and livelihood.
Receiving donations today (Sunday) Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed said the government in the near future would go for implementing large-scale physical infrastructure rehabilitation works in the coastal belt battered by the Nov 15 cyclone SIDR.
