So long, dear friend.
When we lose an old friend, we often reflect upon the entire relationship starting from the beginning. We pass chronologically through the times we've shared. We smile, chuckle, or offer an affirming nod as we recall the many shared accomplishments and poignant moments. Such a friend will never fade from memory because they always seemed to be there at every turn.
This is how the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra feels about its dear friend, The Kentucky Post.
I've thought long and hard about writing this letter upon learning of the paper's imminent closing over a year ago. Allow me to share a couple of reminiscences:
