Chongqing government to crack down on illegal satellite TV receivers
Shanghai. January 2. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Chongqing Bureau of Culture announced last Saturday that it will run a special campaign from Jan. 5 to March 5 to crack down on illegal ground satellite TV receiver facilities.
The Chongqing government will crack down on the illegal production, import, sale and installation of ground satellite TV receiver facilities. A special focus of the campaign is to eliminate the broadcasting of obscene and pornographic programs, programs that threaten China's national security and overseas satellite TV programs, the announcement said.
