They claim it was just a joke, but two men accused of pinning a woman against a bar, cutting off her underwear and draping it over a fan are learning the case is no laughing matter.

Michael S. Puhalla, 39, and Russell J. Baumgardner, 40, held the woman down and used a pocketknife to cut off her underwear as other customers in the Sartell, Minn., bar laughed and a bartender stood by despite her pleas for help, authorities allege.
