Eugene voters aren't willing to pay for a new City Hall, partly because they don't have much trust in the City Council, a survey of likely voters showed.
Fifty-three percent of voters surveyed were opposed to a City Hall bond measure, compared with 41 percent in favor, with 7 percent undecided, according to a fall survey of 401 residents.
The survey by city-hired consultants was taken Nov. 14 through 18 to help the City Council figure out how it will finance a new City Hall.
