HIGH POINT, N.C.--( BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1995--Earl E. Congdon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (Nasdaq NM: ODFL), today announced financial results for the second quarter and first six months of 1995. Revenues were $60,371,000 for the second quarter which ended June 30, 1995, compared with $65,952,000 for the second quarter of 1994. Net income was $1,969,000, or $0.24 per share, down from $3,509,000, or $0.42 per share. The operating ratio for the second quarter of 1995 was 94.1% compared with 90.9% for the second quarter last year.
