A FOOTBALL club will let fans choose its new mascot after receiving dozens of entries following an appeal for a new design.
Kettering Town Football Club asked artistic youngsters to help it replace its current ageing mascot and received nearly 100 entries from children aged 12 and under.
Managing director of the club Kevin Meikle will now meet other club members to decide the final three designs before they are put forward for a public vote.
Mr Meikle said: "I am really happy and surprised with the designs we have received.
"I honestly wasn't expecting so many and I want to thank everyone who took the time to suggest a design.
