Primary school teacher wows judges with Aretha hit
Another Luton singing sensation could be on her way to stardom, after Simon Cowell described her as "terrific" in an X Factor audition.
Primary school teacher Beverley Trotman appeared on ITV's Saturday night talent show at the weekend (see video), and wowed the judges with her performance of Aretha Franklin's Respect.
So much so, that renowned mean man Simon Cowell, who does not shy from being truthful about the talent of contestants said: "This show is always looking for someone like you and I'm really pleased that you've walked in, I thought you were terrific."
