JAKE Allingan made a special gift to his primary school - a tree he has been growing for six years.
The 11-year-old presented Copley Junior and Infants School with the beech tree he planted with his grandpa when he was just five.
It was a thank you present when he left to start at Crossley Heath School, Halifax, this summer and he returned to help with the official planting.
