THERE is a fine balance to achieve between battling hard within the laws of the game and overstepping the mark.
And in the past month or so, the Shaymen have been on the wrong side of referees too often for anyone's liking.
But the question that has to be asked is how could any - or all - of the five red cards their players have been shown, been avoided?
And what has been the cost of the dismissals in terms of league points lost or knockout blows delivered?
It is easy to explain two straight away.
