A FOOTBALL club is launching an appeal for help in designing a new club mascot.
Kettering Town Football Club wants artistic youngsters to help them replace their current ageing mascot.
Club managing director Kevin Meikle wants children aged 12 and under to draw what they would like to see run out at the A-Line Area every home game and encourage supporters to cheer on the team.
Mr Meikle said: "Our current mascot, Rocky Bear, has got to the stage where he is very tired and tatty.
"The club needs a new mascot and we want children to help us.
"Rocky has had his day and it is about time he was put into retirement."
