Witness plea after early hours attack
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a taxi driver was hurt during an attempted robbery in Enderby Road, Luton, on Saturday morning.
The 37-year-old taxi driver was waiting to pick up a customer just after midnight on Friday when a man approached him armed with a knife.
The man opened the driver's door then threatened and cut the victim once on the arm and again on the thigh.
The offender demanded money but the taxi driver managed to sound his car horn and the offender ran away empty-handed.
