BRIGHOUSE may have had a close shave with relegation from Division One of the Bradford League, but there were plenty of individual highlights form the club's players with Haroon Rashid finishing as the league's leading run scorer.
Rashid chalked up a superb 887 runs at an average of 44.35, though he was tipped for top spot in the league averages by Chris Brice of Woodlands, largely by virtue of the fact that though Brice scored just 581 runs, he was not out 10 times in his 17 innings.
Fellow Brighouse man Mark Gill also figured with 4,326 runs at 36.33 to earn seventh place in the averages, while recently departed Russell Way skipper Mark Gilliver was ...
