A TEENAGER who lost both his legs after contracting meningitis has launched a [pounds sterling]300,000 compensation claim against four doctors.

Lawyers have begun legal action on behalf of Graham Hilsdon, aged 18, who was forced to undergo a double-amputation 10 years ago after he was struck down with the disease.

Mr Hilsdon, of Winston Crescent, Brackley, blames delays in the diagnosis of his condition for his disability, and says if he had been treated earlier his legs could have been saved.
