Wilton's defence has tightened up considerably over recent weeks so it was with some trepidation that they began this match against fellow strugglers Norton without any of their first choice defenders. Graduations, work commitments and illness saw even the usual understudies unavailable and with not even a short straw left Rob Hennesey and manager Scholefield donned the centre back shirts and Cook made his league debut as an impromptu left back.
