Rosneft hopes to enter the bunker fuel business on both the domestic and international markets in the near future, in a move that has sparked speculation that bunker fuels could be the next target of Moscow's recent drive to reassert the state's power over Russia's natural resources.
Rosneft plans to use two subsidiaries, Rosneft-Bunker and Rosneft-Marine, to cover the domestic and foreign markets, respectively, according to a Rosneft representative.
