The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has lifted its Order of Suspension on the registration of securities of publicly traded Unioil Resources & Holdings Company, Inc. (UNI), following the company's payment of P1.034-million worth of fines for violating Rule 17.1 of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC).
To recall, Unioil was slapped with an Order of Suspension early last year for failing to submit on time its 2006 annual report, the company's fourth offense.
In addition, the company also failed to submit on time its 2005 Sworn Certification on the Extent of its Compliance with the Manual on Corporate Governance. ...
