A FURIOUS man who burned his wife's lingerie and designer handbags in a garden incinerator when their 13 year marriage started to crumble will have to take his punishment.
Businessman Neil Medley, 46, lost his appeal against conviction at Leeds Crown Court where he claimed someone else must have "stitched him up" by destroying her clothing during his acrimonious marriage break-up.
Police were called to the Medleys' home in Pinetrees, Parklands, Ben Rhydding, Ilkley, in July, 2006, and later Neil Medley was convicted of three charges of criminal damage by magistrates in Leeds.
The magistrate found him guilty and he was sentenced to 120 hours ...
