PINE RIDGE RESERVATION, S.D., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- For decades now, Katherine, a 74-year-old Oglala Sioux tribal member, has been spending her days and nights like many other elders, in a cramped one-room trailer without running water or electricity, in the middle of the Pine Ridge Reservation in southwestern South Dakota. In less than a month, she will live in a comfortable new two-bedroom home, thanks to the efforts of Robert Young, co-founder of clothing manufacturer Smith & Jones, international home materials supplier Miles Homes and the generosity of Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard.
