New Holland marks 100th anniversary. (New Holland North America Inc.)

New Holland North America Inc. celebrated its 100th year in the agricultural machinery business in 1995. The company started with a single product, a feed mill, which was produced by Abe Zimmerman in his New Holland, PA, repair shop. Zimmerman incorporated as the New Holland Machine Co. in 1903, experiencing brisk business until the Great Depression. The company was acquired several times and was reincorporated as New Holland North America Inc. on Jan. 1, 1995.
