Monday rebounded in early morning trading as speculation that the Federal Reserve will slash interest rates to avoid a recession. Further, oil prices fell also on Monday as a result of an earlier report of growing unemployment in the U.S. raising concerns of a downturn in the economy that could restrict oil demand. In the same report it stated that employers created only 18,000 jobs the previous month, which was less than the predicted 70,000 analysts had anticipated and the smallest increase since August of 2003. ...
