Dog owners in Battle will need to keep a close eye on where their furry friends do their business if the council gives the green light to new Dog Control Orders.
Rother District Council will decide on Monday whether to introduce the new orders on April 1 to control dog fouling in the district.
The order, which will replace existing bye-laws, will see dog owners hit with a [pounds sterling]75 fixed penalty fine for failing to clear up after their pet.
Rother says the plans have been met with support from the majority of people and town and parish councils.
But Sedlescombe and Crowhurst Parish Councils have flagged up a number of issues ...
