Spot trading in coffee, maize soon: NCDEX
Mumbai, Jan 8 (PTI) After launching spot trading in sugar on pilot basis, NCDEX, the agri-commodity exchange plans to implement the same in coffee and maize next month, a senior official said.
"We are planning to launch a full fledged spot trading in coffee and maize in six weeks period," NCDEX Managing Director and CEO P H Ravi Kumar told PTI here.
The spot trading platform for coffee would be set up in Karnataka and Kerala while for maize, it would be in Bihar, Ravikumar said.
