Friends of the Earth has today welcomed a decision by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in which palm oil described as "sustainably produced" was ruled to be false advertising. The verdict followed a Friends of the Earth International complaint against an advert by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council.
