MRS Anna Dobson MBE of Lasswade passed away on December 31 after a short illness.
Anna worked tirelessly for the community in Midlothian for almost three decades in an entirely voluntary capacity and she will be greatly missed by her many friends and colleagues as well as by her family.
Anna was a person who wished to serve others and this led her to train as a nurse at St Thomas's Hospital in London. She made her home in Lasswade on her marriage to Bill Dobson.
She was the district organiser of the WRVS in Midlothian from 1980 until 1996, building a strong team of more than 300 WRVS volunteers who were involved in many projects throughout the ...
