The government of Hong Kong said that the lone applicant, PCCW-HKT, has won a 15-year license for providing 850MHz CDMA2000 mobile services. Telecom regulator OFTA said the incumbent operator has successfully met all the requirements and needs to pay a spectrumutilization fee of $9.8 million to the government.
