TOON tycoon Mike Ashley's patience finally snapped with manager Sam Allardyce when the former Bolton Wanderers manager refused to switch to a "more attractive" brand of football.
The billionaire United chief - who has had plenty opportunity to hear the supporter's views in recent away games - is, just like the Toon fans, thought to have been sickened by the philosophy of Allardyce and his army of backroom staff to "win ugly."
