Robert Taubman showed confidence in Southeast Michigan when Taubman Centers Inc. opened two of the region's largest retail projects last fall.
Taubman Centers (NYSE: TCO) opened its 260,000-square-foot expansion of Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi on Sept. 28. The expansion includes a new Nordstrom anchor store, 30 new retailers and renovations to existing portions of the mall.
Less than a month later, Taubman Centers debuted the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township. The 640,000-square-foot mall, which opened Oct. 18, is anchored by Nordstrom, Parisian and MJR Theaters, and includes about 90 stores and restaurants.
