SONS & Daughters have always been a band out of time - but now it seems we are about to catch up.

Two years ago, they looked like following Franz Ferdinand to all-conquering glory. One of only a few Scots indie rock bands to really make it commercially.

But second album, The Repulsion Box, was perhaps too dark and raw for the average chart listener's tastes and the fire died down.
