A growing number of local gas distribution companies are using trenchless equipment to replace or rehabilitate aging underground gas piping systems. Contractors cite numerous benefits with this technology, including minimal environmental effects, enhanced crew safety, time and labor savings, customer satisfaction and less disruption of traffic. They also decribed the technique as highly reliable and easy to operate.
