PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 1995--Calbag Metals Co., one of the West Coast's largest non-ferrous scrap metal processors, based in Portland, has agreed to purchase two non-ferrous scrap metal operations from Schnitzer Steel Inc. of Portland.
According to Calbag Metals President Warren Rosenfeld, one transaction includes purchase of the operations and 100 percent of the stock of Acme Trading & Supply, a non-ferrous metal processing center located in northwest Portland.
In a separate transaction, Calbag has also agreed to purchase all existing non-ferrous assets and assume operation of a non-ferrous purchasing and collection site located at ...
