FRIDAY 4PM: Raiders wrecked two village pubs, stealing stole cash, car keys, cigarettes and spirits.
The landlord of the Three Horse Shoes in Whissendine got a shock when he was woken up by his barking dog to find four or five intruders in his pub.
The gang were discovered in the early hours of Monday after they had trashed the kitchen and stolen two sets of car keys for vehicles belonging to the pub.
The landlord chased the gang through the village into Hall Close where police believe a get-away car was waiting for them.
