Melrose Park, Ill. - Benefiting from heavy promotional and advertising support, Alberto-Culver Co.'s professional hair care division will begin shipping three new TRESemme products in July. They are an instant hot-oil treatment, and a shampoo and a conditioner for color-treated and permed hair. All of them are formulated with aloe vera.
TRESemme group product manager Rich Seligson calls initial trade acceptance of the new products excellent. "The leading chains have accepted them," he says. "It's probably the best launch that TRESemme has had because we're targeting these products to a growing audience of women who are perming and color-treating their hair."
