MAURICE Bruce Miller, who died on Boxing Day aged 51, was a well known solicitor in Falkirk.
He attended Edinburgh Academy before obtaining a law degree at Aberdeen University.
He joined the firm of Gair & Gibson, Hope Street, Falkirk in 1981 and eventually became senior partner after the retirement of his late father, Andrew Miller.
While at university he met Cathy (Cat) whom he married in 1983. Maurice was well known and well respected in Falkirk legal circles. He was always someone whose word could be trusted.
During his early years at Gair & Gibson he was a regular practitioner in the old Falkirk Sheriff Court building.
