Bravo for Ian Hunter! As Christians, we set the Gospel of Jesus against the Koran to contrast our world view to theirs. In the Islamist doctrine of fate, Allah has determined all things in advance and there is no free will. And, importantly, Jihad must be observed, the practice of Holy War....
In the Koran, Jesus is not the divine son of God and the Trinity is to be rejected! Also, according to the Koran, Jesus was not crucified but at the last minute Judas was substituted for Him. The Koran contradicts the very heart of the Gospel!
Sura 4: God is but one God, far be it from Him He should have a son.... In John 14, 15 and 16 Jesus promises one will come ...
